2023 OVTA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

GUIDELINES & APPLICATION

  1. The applicant must either be a member of the OVTA and in good standing, or be employed at a member facility or company.
  2. The course taken must be related to the turfgrass industry and offered through a recognized and accredited educational institution.
  3. The applicant must provide proof of payment and an official statement of marks for the course taken.
  4. The applicant will have either completed their course of study or be currently enrolled. Applicants are allowed to apply consecutive years for extended diploma or degree courses taken. Other courses that may meet approval are: on-line studies, certificate courses and short programs offered by various educational institutes.
  5. All applicants are subject to full board approval.
  6. All applicants to be considered for the 2023 Scholarship fund must be received by the OVTA office or by a member of the board of directors no later than January 20th, 2023. Successful applicants will be notified by email and the scholarship presentation(s) will take place during the 2023 OVTA Winter Conference.

NOTE:  Only those with a successful application will be contacted, at which point a copy of your marks and proof of payment will be requested.
